Mugwort is the herb Midnight Imperium reaches to for Dreamwork, be that lucid dreaming or prophetic Dreamwork. This is because it can strengthen psychic abilities, lend some protection and support your journey to other realms. Lucid Dreamwork and Dream interpretation require well developed psychic abilities when journeying, for this reason we favour Mugwort over other herbs for Dreamwork. Some use Mugwart to aid journeying to other realms through herbal teas and such. Mugwart is less bitter than its cousin wormwood but also less potent. So if you are seeking a gentler ride to the other side that offers a blander taste then Mugwart is your herb. Helpful when communing with spirits or other energies it is a good herb to create tinctures and oils to use for anointing tools and yourself with, prior to divination. Associated with the element Water and connected to the moon it is a herb that can support shadow work and self reflection. For this reason we like to keep some with our Scrying mirrors or add to a cauldrons water before interpreting the reflection.
